I Won’t Rest Until I Resolve Nigeria’s Problems – President Buhari Vows

President Muhammadu Buhari has stated that he is aware of the many difficulties Nigeria is currently facing and that he will not stop until he finds long-term solutions to them.

He said this in his Eid-el-Kabir speech to Muslims and all Nigerians, where he also urged people to put the national interests ahead of personal interests.

Buhari’s statement reads in part; “I am quite aware of the difficulties people are facing and working to resolve them.” He urged Nigerians to put the interest of the country above selfish interests and also “use religion as a motivation for the love of our common humanity.

“If we are putting the teachings of our religions into practice, most of the evils afflicting our society would have been solved.

“Religion should not just be used as a mere badge of identity, but a motivator for doing good for the country and humanity”.

President Buhari told Nigerians that he is working hard to fix the country’s economic and security concerns.

“I won’t rest until I bring relief to Nigerians. I am quite aware of the difficulties people are facing and working to resolve them,” the president said.
