Mrs Maryam Ahmed Audi, the wife of Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi, Commandant-General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has died after a brief illness.
According to family sources, Mrs Audi died on Monday 15th June, 2026. The deceased was well-known for her support for humanitarian causes and community development activities, receiving acclaim from both inside and beyond the security industry.
Senior government officials, security agencies, traditional rulers, acquaintances, and well-wishers from all around the country expressed their condolences following her death.
Many of her supporters characterized her as a loyal wife, caring mother, and compassionate philanthropist whose benevolence touched many lives.
They prayed for her soul to rest in peace and requested God to give her family the strength to accept the loss.
The family is expected to announce funeral plans in accordance with Islamic traditions.
Mrs Audi is survived by her husband, children, and other relatives.
