Osinbajo Won’t Make A Good Leader, He Should Be Selling Popcorn And Ice Cream – Ex-Governor of Borno, Kashim Shettima
Former Governor of Borno State, Senator Kassim Shettima has praised Nigerian Vice President Yemi Osibanjo describing him as a “nice man,” but that attribute alone doesn’t make him fit to rule a nation like Nigeria.
Senator Kassim Shettima made this controversial claim during an interview with Channels TV on Friday night.
Shettima believes the vice president, Osinbajo, has little chance of defeating PDP candidate Abubakar Atiku in the 2023 presidential elections.
Shettima who represents Borno Central Senatorial District, claims that while Osibanjo is a nice guy, he is not a good leader.
“Nobody has ever doubted the competence of Professor Osinbajo, but we believe that in terms of intellectual capacity, and someone who is capable of winning the election, is Bola Tinubu.
“We need someone who can match and even overshadow the PDP candidate, Atiku Abubakar. Osinbajo is a good and nice man but nice men do not make good leaders, nice men should be selling ice cream”.
