Popular Nigerian activist and content creator Mr Macaroni has sparked widespread reactions online after strongly criticising the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over rising insecurity in the country.
In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Mr Macaroni did not hold back his frustration, describing the current government in harsh terms while lamenting the continued loss of lives across Nigeria.
“President @officialABAT is running the Most Useless Government in the history of Useless Governments!!!
How many more Nigerians have to die due to this abysmal level of incompetence?
Nigerians wake up everyday to lament one tragedy of the other. Unbearably heart-wrenching!!!”

The statement quickly gained traction online, with many Nigerians taking to social media to express differing opinions on the matter.
A user identified as Opaconnect criticised the actor’s position, writing: “Some people will just talk without reasoning😒. If anything happens in your house,, you will say President. If I your wife give birth no money for hospital bills, you will say President. You guys don’t know the difference between federal state and local. Shio.”
Another user, Vicky, questioned the constant blame on the President, stating:
“Na tinubu go turn police or soldier to secure people??, are you the one securing your estate no be your security man? Let’s call on the security parastatals for failing to do their jobs well… Tinubu this Tinubu that just sounds like a distraction at this point.”
Young Gee expressed deeper frustration with the political class, saying:
“They don’t just care if we kpai or not. They’re only after re-election and how to enrich their pockets.”
