Bishop David Oyedepo has called on members of the Living Faith Church Worldwide to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking during a sermon titled “Breaking the Curses of Life” at Canaanland in Ota, Ogun State, Oyedepo said the church would have a voice in the forthcoming elections, pointing to the size of its membership.
He described participation in the electoral process as a civic responsibility and stressed that church members have the right to help determine who leads the country.
The cleric encouraged Christians not to remain indifferent to political developments but to actively participate in the democratic process by registering to vote and exercising their franchise during the elections.
“We have a civic responsibility as responsible citizens of our various nations.
We are not passers-by in our nations. We are bona fide citizens of the nation and we have a right to participate in who governs us.
“We have a right to determine who rules us. And this church, with the millions that we have, has a say in it. So be part of it,” he said.
